Availability & rental

Across the products you’ll see small coloured status labels. They tell you, at a glance, how quickly you can get a piece of equipment and on what terms, off the shelf, from stock, on hire or engineered to your requirement. This page explains each one, and is where our rental and in-stock detail lives. Most of our equipment can be supplied or hired, so if a project needs (equipment) for a campaign rather than a purchase, talk to us.

What the labels mean

Label	What it means for you
STANDARD PRODUCT	A proven, productised design we build to a validated standard template and configure to your duty. Lower risk and faster delivery than a clean-sheet design, with a known starting point.
IN STOCK	A physical unit we hold and can mobilise quickly. Subject to availability at the time of enquiry – ask us what’s on the shelf.
FOR HIRE	Available to rent for a project or campaign rather than buy. Day, week or campaign rates; supplied with the documentation and support to put it straight to work.
FOR SALE	Available to purchase outright – new-build or, where noted, an existing unit.
ENGINEERED TO ORDER	Designed and built to your specific requirement, on our proven engineering base. The route for a bespoke duty or a non-standard interface.

A product can carry more than one label, many are both a standard product and available for hire or sale. Where no label is shown, ask us; availability and terms depend on the unit and the timing.

Rental – equipment for a campaign, not a purchase

Renting makes sense when you need proven equipment for a defined scope without owning it: a campaign-length need, a gap in your own fleet or de-risking a job before committing to a buy. We rent our own equipment and supply it ready to work, with the HPUs, controls and technical backup to suit. We can also configure, adapt or service it for your job and back it up with spares and engineering support while it’s on hire.

Typically available for hire or supply

The following are routinely offered for rental as well as purchase. Availability of a specific unit depends on timing – ask us what’s available.

• Hydraulic power units (HPUs) – a range from compact deck-mounted packs to high-flow LARS units, plus MintMech-owned diesel HPU plant. Rental or purchase.
• Winches – hydraulic and electric winches across the duty range; we often hold stock for quick mobilisation.
• 5t DNV 20ft containerised LARS – self-contained launch & recovery system, integrated HPU, 20ft envelope. Supply or rental.
• Geotechnical sampling tools – gravity & vibration corers, drop trigger, grabs & box corers. Supply or rental.
• Internal lifting tools (ILT) – fail-safe internal grip for lifting and upending tubular piles. Supply or rental.
• BHA shear sub – proven bottom-hole-assembly disconnect; we hold the design, tooling and critical spares, available for purchase or campaign rental.
• Other machinery from stock – we hold a changing range of winches, HPUs and other equipment for quick supply, rental or as the basis of a configured solution.
