Jack-Up Barge
JackLad™ 650
IJUBOA recognised, shock-absorbing boarding ladder for safe crew transfer between CTVs and jack-up barges.

Transferring crew between a crew transfer vessel and a jack-up barge in a seaway is one of the riskier routine operations offshore, a short ladder in poor weather delays the job and exposes the crew. The JackLad™ 650 is a retractable, hydraulically actuated boarding ladder with a unique shock-absorption system that keeps the boarding route stable through the vessel’s motion, so crews can transfer safely in challenging sea states. It has been delivered in multiple variants for different hull types and mounting needs and has been recognised within the jack-up-barge operator community as a best-practice access solution.
