Kibbles, skips & man-riding conveyances
Shaft conveyances for hoisting rock, equipment and people, designed and verified to mine shaft & winding standards.

We design and supply the conveyances that run in a mine shaft: ore skips and kibbles for material, and man-riding cages for personnel, with the detaching hooks, catch gear and running gear that make them safe in a working winder. They range from production hoisting conveyances for a reopened deep shaft to slung kibbles and lifting exoskeletons used to dewater and strip out an old one.
The range
- Ore skips – self-tipping rock-hoisting skips with detaching hooks and headframe catch gear, rated for continuous duty.
- Man-and-materials cages – single- or double-deck personnel-and-materials cages, removable decks, rated for both personnel and material travel.
- Kibbles – muck and equipment removal slung beneath the main cage, anti-rotation by interfacing with the shaft’s guide legs, pallet-fork handleable, hinged for loading at depth.
- Lifting exoskeletons – protective frames to lower heavy, sensitive equipment (e.g. an electrical panel to a deep pump station) safely down the shaft.
