Subsea template levelling systems

Setting and holding a subsea template level and on-position on an uneven seabed, so every pile lands true.

Touchscreen showing hoist positions and loads for a levelling system

A piling or foundation template only does its job if it sits level and on-position on the seabed, and the seabed is rarely flat. We design subsea template levelling systems that set and hold a template to the required level and orientation on a sloping or uneven bottom, so pile-to-pile spacing, verticality and rake are achieved by design rather than chased in the water. They work hand-in-hand with our subsea piling templates.

What they do

  • Level on an uneven seabed – adjustable legs/jacks that set and hold the template within tolerance on a slope.
  • Hold position & orientation – keeping the template true while piles are installed and grouted.
  • Instrumented & controllable – with the sensing and control to confirm level and position, ROV-operable where required.
