Conductors & pile-top adapters
Drill-extension adapters that connect a drill to the pile top, and conductors that carry the drilling through it.
To drill ahead of a pile, the drive has to be connected to the top of the pile and the drilling has to be carried through it, that’s the job of a conductor / pile-top extension adapter. We design and supply these adapters as part of our pile-top drilling systems: the structural and gripping interface that locates the drill on the pile, transfers torque and thrust and extends the drill string through the pile to the cutting face. They use the same gripping technology as our jacking and lifting tools.
What they do
- Connect drill to pile – a controlled, load-rated interface that grips the pile top and reacts drilling torque and thrust.
- Extend the drill through the pile – carrying the drilling and spoil path through the pile to the ground ahead of it.
- Matched to the pile and drill – sized to the pile diameter and the drill’s torque/thrust, across the large-diameter range.
