Piggyback drilling fits a secondary drill alongside a vessel’s primary drilling system, so one rig can do two jobs, for example running a smaller, faster tool alongside a main geotechnical or large-diameter drill. Done well. It transforms a rig’s flexibility and utilisation. Adapting existing equipment to take a piggyback drill, safely, within the structure and the operating envelope that’s already there, is exactly the kind of problem we specialise in.
