Hydraulic power units (HPUs)
Reliable, controllable hydraulic power, proven units, available for rental or purchase, plus bespoke builds to duty.
We design, manufacture and supply HPUs for offshore, marine and heavy-industrial applications: standard deck-mounted units, units fully integrated into MintMech machinery and HPUs retrofitted into existing equipment. Pressures and flows are tailored to duty, from low-flow auxiliary systems to very high-flow, high-power installations, including working pressures up to 420 bar. The units below are proven designs we have built and can supply again, for rental or purchase or as the starting point for a configured solution.
Configuration & efficiency
Energy efficiency is handled at system level, not as a bolt-on: variable-displacement pumps, inverter control where appropriate, accumulators and proportional valves, applied selectively to match the duty cycle. Common configurations include load-sensing and pressure-compensated operation, open- or closed-centre, open- or closed-loop control, hydrostatic drives for winches and large motors and constant-tension operation.
Power, drive & environment
Electric or internal-combustion drive; marine multi-frequency (50/60 Hz) supplies; soft-start, star-delta or variable-frequency drives; radio remote operation. For specialist duties we also build battery-powered, subsea, remote and compact HPUs.
