We design and deliver handling and deployment systems for offshore, marine and heavy-industrial applications where controlled movement is critical to safety and performance. Systems range from compact handling built into drilling and construction spreads through to large deployment systems for subsea equipment, tooling and structures, launch and recovery systems (LARS), winch-based handling, drilling rigs and bespoke arrangements for constrained decks.
Engineered as complete assemblies
Handling systems are delivered as complete assemblies: structure, winches or cylinders, ropes or hoses, hydraulic power and control, instrumentation and safety systems. Particular attention goes to load paths, stiffness, alignment and interface control, so behaviour stays predictable under dynamic loading and vessel motion.
Compensated & constant-tension operation
We have deep experience with deployment operating under heave-compensated, constant-tension and controlled-position modes. The control strategy is matched to the objective, accurate placement, controlled penetration, sample protection or safe recovery.
Safety first-order
Load monitoring, overload protection, secondary load-holding, emergency recovery and controlled manual operation are first-order design requirements. For man-riding and personnel-adjacent operations, additional safeguards support compliance with applicable safety standards. Systems are designed for operability and maintainability, access for inspection, clear service routing and predictable control behaviour. We deliver both new-build and retrofit handling upgrades.
