CPT system
A complete, bespoke top-push cone-penetration-testing system, engineered to integrate with existing drilling systems.

We design and deliver complete CPT systems. A recent build is a bespoke top-push wireline CPT system engineered to interface with a client’s existing sonic drill rig and jack-up barge, working through the barge’s moonpool. It takes the client’s chosen hydraulic cylinders and wraps a complete, verified system around them, structure, hydraulics, controls, wireline handling and safety, so CPT can be deployed through the same rig used for sonic drilling, with repeatable installation and removal by barge crane.
How it works
Wireline CPT latches into the core barrel; a designated HPU and auxiliary circuit power the system; a wireline sheave on the drill mast and winch control sit on the CPT hydraulic panel. A “top hat” matched to the core-barrel ID lets the CPT pass through, and the system accommodates different casing sizes and casing stick-up, all while maintaining the functionality of the existing equipment.
