Jack-up-mounted equipment
The working equipment that turns a stable jacked-up deck into a task-specific platform, designed, sea-fastened and integrated to the barge.

A jacked-up barge gives you a stable platform clear of the water, but it only earns its keep with the right working equipment on the deck. “Mission equipment” is the task-specific spread that does the actual job: the drilling system, the piling and gate equipment, the cranes and handling bases, the fluid and tooling systems. We design and integrate that equipment to the barge, sized to the deck and its load cases, sea-fastened for transit and operation, powered and controlled from the platform and commissioned as one working system rather than a deck full of separate units.
What problem it solves
Bolting a equipment spread onto a deck is easy to get wrong: foundations that don’t suit the deck load cases, sea-fastening that doesn’t hold in transit, power and controls that don’t talk to each other and a set of separately-supplied units that nobody is accountable for as a whole. We engineer the mounted equipment and its interface to the vessel together, so the deck carries it safely, it works as an integrated system and one team is answerable for how it all performs.
What we mount
- Drilling & foundation spreads – geotechnical and large-diameter drilling systems, top-push CPT and pile-installation equipment configured for deck deployment.
- Pile gates & pile handling – multilevel-access and gripper pile gates, rollover frames and lifting tools that restrain, guide and present piles during installation from the platform.
- Cranes & handling bases – deck cranes, A-frames, launch-and-recovery systems and containerised handling bases such as the Cranetainer, sized and founded to the deck.
- Fluid, mixing & pumping systems – drilling-fluid, grout and pumping spreads integrated into the deck layout and power supply.
- Tooling & mission-specific equipment – the bespoke tools a particular campaign needs, engineered to the platform interface.
Integrated to the barge
- Founded to the deck load cases – equipment foundations engineered against the barge’s structural capacity, in operation and transit.
- Sea-fastened – sea-fastening and deck spreads designed to hold the equipment through transit and keep simultaneous operations workable.
- Powered & controlled from the platform – HPUs, manifolds and controls – including wireless remote control – specified so the spread operates safely from the barge.
- Commissioned as one system – integrated and function-tested as a whole, under single-party accountability.
